We spent time illustrating and naming the parts of a circle, using the relevant mathematical terms: radius, diameter, centre point and circumference confidently.
We explored the relationship between the radius and the diameter, recognising that the diameter is twice the length of the radius. We created our own radius and diameter questions for each other to answer, and to add a little bit of fun to the lesson, we actually completed our work on our classroom tables!
