We participated in a game of snakes and ladders as part of our reading cycle. We had to roll the dice, move our counters and answer the questions on the squares we landed on. The questions were all to do with vocabulary within the text we are currently focusing on (an extract from the Wizard of Oz): we had to define words, find synonyms for words & also find words from different word classes (e.g. verbs and adjectives).
