During our WW2 topic, we've been thinking about how the Home Front had contributed to the war effort.

We thought about make do and mend, women at work (as the men were at war), Air Raid Wardens, growing their own food and taking in an evacuated child.  From these, we thought about how they could help with the war.

After, we researched posters used in WW2 to encourage people at home to help.  We created our own posters in the style of the ones we had researched.
